Rotator Cuff
This particular exercise targets the rotator cuff muscles which include the muscles termed supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis. These muscles help control shoulder movements and maintain the glenohumeral joint. To a lesser degree, it also involves the deltoid, trapezius, teres major, latissimus dorsi, pectoralis, rhomboids, erector spinae (iliacus, longissimus, spinalis).
